Michael Chang is Vice President of Energy and Sustainability at Host Hotels &
Resorts, a S&P 500 company and the largest public lodging REIT and one of
the largest owners of luxury and upper-upscale hotels, Michael leads
Corporate Responsibility driving environmental and social performance with a
focus on asset value enhancement. He led efforts at Host to set a science
based target, to report SASB metrics in ûnancial disclosures, and helped Host
achieve leadership recognition by investor driven frameworks and industry
awards including the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), CDP, Global Real
Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), and NAREIT Leader in the Light
award. Prior to joining Host, Michael was a leader in the sustainability
consulting practice at Deloitte Consulting where he delivered sustainability
strategy, resource and supply chain management, and reporting solutions to
Fortune 500 consumer product, retail, media, and real estate companies.
Michael holds a Master9s in International Energy Management and Policy from
Columbia University as well as a BA within Economics from New York
University.
As the founder of Biddle Real Estate Ventures, Peter has 19 years of real
estate investment and development experience with a focus on complex
mixed-use and master-planned communities. His career includes experience
in underwriting, acquisition, capitalization and management of residential land
development projects on the East Coast and real estate private equity
investment.
Gary is the co-founder and CEO of Raise Robotics. Prior to Raise, he spent
years working on robotics for outdoor environments, leading projects at
Waymo and performing research at UC Berkeley. He has experience building
deeply technical products and companies, previously being the founding
engineer at two startups commercializing research out of UC Berkeley.
