Pierre is a sales and marketing leader with 16+ years of experience in
proptech. He is passionate about driving revenue, creating positive change
and empowering others to succeed in the ever-evolving real estate landscape.
He built and led teams at Trulia, RealScout, and Local Logic4focusing on
revenue, marketing and customer success. Now COO and co-founder of
Upfront, he's addressing the cash-üow problem in real estate. Pierre is also an
advisor to several companies, the 1üourish portfolio, and a NAR Reach
mentor. He actively participates in the proptech community, sharing insights
and collaborating to drive innovation in the real estate market. He's married
with four sons and is a proud 1st generation Cuban-American.
As a Senior Project Manager at McCarthy Building Companies, Joe specializes
in the mission-critical sector. With over a decade of industry experience, I have
dedicated the past ûve years to managing data center projects.

Steve Capezza (aka Capz) has over two decades of experience in proptech
and in leading large-scale business teams. In his role as President, he leads
Side9s go-to-market and customer success organizations. Capz joined Side
following nearly 10 years at Zillow Group, where he most recently served as
SVP of Business Operations. In that role, he oversaw Zillow Premier Agent,
which connects consumers searching for homes on Zillow with real estate
professionals. Prior to Zillow Group9s acquisition of Trulia, he spent two years
leading Trulia9s San Francisco sales and operations teams. Before Trulia, he
held leadership and management positions at Z57, Inc. and GreatCall. Steve
holds B.A. degrees in sociology and Chinese from Occidental College, as well
as a Certiûcate of Sales Leadership and Behavioral Science from The Wharton
School of The University of Pennsylvania.

Daniel Carr is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Alpaca Real Estate. In
this capacity, he is responsible for the Firm9s investment strategy, capital
markets, asset management, portfolio management and is a member of the
Investment Committee and the Board of Directors. Mr. Carr has over a dozen
years of institutional real estate experience investing in traditional and adjacent
property sectors throughout major markets in the U.S. and across the risk
spectrum. Prior to forming Alpaca Real Estate, Mr. Carr was a Principal with
global alternative investment manager Ares Management (NYSE: ARES).
During his ten-year tenure, he was responsible for acquisitions, asset
management, and portfolio management for the ûrm9s core, value add, and
opportunistic vehicles including commingled funds, co- investments,
separately managed accounts, and an evergreen private REIT. Mr. Carr actively
participated in the fundraising, deployment, and realization of over $7 billion of
transactions through direct acquisitions, syndications, and joint venture
partnerships. He also managed and mentored a team of investment
professionals from Analyst to Vice President levels. Prior to joining Ares, Mr.
Carr was a member of J.P. Morgan9s Real Estate and Lodging Investment
Banking group responsible for various mergers & acquisitions and capital
markets transactions with clients including Archstone, Retail Properties of
America, and Lennar.
