Dhaval Shah is the Global Director of Building Automation Services at
Schneider Electric (SE), based in Boston. He leads the strategy, product,
marketing, partnerships and delivery functions for a $600M+ global services
business; that comprise of advisory, operations and maintenance, lifecycle
management services. Combining disruptive technologies with business
innovation for past 15+ years, he has led products, solutions, and services to
decarbonize at scale across diverse industries of Commercial Automotive,
Solar & Energy Storage, Building Automation. He actively engages with startups to bring them into SE portfolio through a resell-partnerships as well as
guide investments through SE Ventures. Dhaval holds a Masters in Electrical &
Power Conversion engineering from University of Victoria, British Columbia.

Sheida Shahi is CEO of Adaptis, a carbon optimization platform for buildings.
Since co-founding Adaptis in 2022, she has built the team to 25+ carbon
reduction experts and raised over $7 million in equity and non-dilutive funds.
Sheida is a licensed Architect and holds a PhD in Construction Management
from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University
of Waterloo. She is also a certiûed Passive House Designer with over 10 years
of professional experience in architecture, development, and construction
ûrms. Sheida is an expert in design optimization methodologies, the
decarbonization of existing buildings, and enhancing circularity in the built
environment. Her thought leadership contributions have earned her the Royal
Architecture Institute of Canada Sustainable Design and Research Award and
the Energy Council of Canada Fellowship for Sustainable Energy Innovation.

Rahul has spent most of his 25-year career commercializing climate-tech
innovations including fuel cells (Ballard Power Systems), renewable fuels and
chemicals (ûrst business hire, Amyris), ocean energy (co-founder, Oscilla
Power) and ultra-low carbon concrete (founding CEO, CarbonBuilt). Bellwether
Bio, a cancer diagnostics company he co-founded in 2016, was acquired by
Guardant Health in 2019. Rahul earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from
MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and is an active investor in
early stage climate- and health-tech ventures.
