Aaron Ru is a Principal at RET Ventures, a proptech focused early-stage
venture fund backed by UDR, MAA, Greystar, Invitation Homes, and other real
estate industry participants. Aaron focuses on investing in startups that
address technology challenges in the single family rental, multifamily and short
term rental spaces. Prior to RET Ventures, Aaron worked as an investment
professional at Naspers Ventures, where he invested in early and growth stage
technology companies. He began his career as an investment banker with
UBS. Aaron has an MBA from Harvard Business School, as well as a BS in
Business Administration from UC Berkeley.

Over 10 years ago, Óscar Rubio, current CEO and founder of Lodgerin,
established People Global Relocation, a mobility company that assisted
professionals in settling into their new destinations. With a degree in Business
Sciences and an MBA from EAE Business School, Óscar has been involved in
proptech projects for years, aiming to aid tenants and property owners in the
booking and management processes, with the goal of digitizing rental
procedures. In 2022, Lodgerin was born as the ûrst platform simplifying
international mobility, creating a digital ecosystem for organizations and
accommodation providers.

Rick Rudman is a serial entrepreneur and CEO with success running start-ups
and public companies in real estate and technology. He has raised over
$100m across a dozen rounds of venture ûnancing, closed a dozen M&A
deals, completed two public offerings and a company sale worth half a billion
dollars. Rick is currently CEO of Curbio, Inc., a PropTech company
modernizing the decades old home improvement industry to help Realtors ûx
and update homes before they list, with a simple pay- at-closing option for
their clients. Prior to Curbio Rick was CEO of Vocus (VOCS:NASDAQ), a leader
in PR and marketing software. Rick9s led Vocus from a start-up to $200m in
revenue, with over 1,500 employees in the US, Europe, and Asia. Before
Curbio Rick gained experience in a diverse range of executive roles, including
business development, software engineering and accounting, working for large
consulting ûrms, international governments and technology companies.

Mead Rusert is the Vice President & GM of Carrier Building Technologies. He
oversees Carrier9s portfolio of building automation, controls, energy services,
and digital solutions. Brands under his leadership include Automated Logic,
Carrier Controls, Abound, Nlyte Software, Noresco, and UTEC. With over 30
years of industry experience, Mead brings a broad background to the position
including executive roles in marketing, product management, and engineering.
He has served as a peer reviewer for the Department of Energy Building
Technology Ofûce and has been a member of the Air-Conditioning, Heating,
and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and the American Society of Heating,
Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). He holds three
patents related to temperature control algorithms.
