VP Sustainability,
Camden Property Trust
Elizabeth Lutz is the Vice President of Sustainability at Camden Property Trust.
Elizabeth has been with Camden Property Trust for over thirteen years and this
is her ûfth role with the company. She most recently managed Camden
Property Trust9s centralized Accounts Payable team, including the outsourcing
of utility and waste invoices to RealPage for payment. Elizabeth began her
Camden Property Trust career on the Financial Reporting team with
responsibility for external ûlings with the SEC. She has also managed
Camden9s unit reposition process and its property management software
vendor relationship as Director of Business Services. She jokes that all her
roles at Camden plus a little personal passion set her up to be the perfect
candidate to manage Camden9s Sustainability programs. Elizabeth started her
career as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a Texas CPA.
Elizabeth is actively involved with CREW Houston9s chapter by chairing the
organization9s Mentor and Leadership committee which plans and executes
the organization9s mentee program. Elizabeth is also involved with the Real
Estate Sustainability Council of NAREIT and sits on the Sustainability Council
of CREW Network. Outside of her business involvement, she spends her time
exploring Texas with her amazing husband and two kids, ages seven and four.
Executive Vice President,
Olive Tree Holdings
Aaron joined Olive Tree Holdings management team as Executive Vice
President of Asset Management. Maas primarily focuses on leading and
overseeing multiple critical departments, including Marketing, Maintenance,
Affordable Housing Compliance, and Risk Management. Additionally, Maas
helps nominate, select, and coordinate with the third-party managers to
optimize operational performance and implement strategic initiatives that
enhance team member satisfaction and the overall customer experience.
Ahead of joining The Life Properties, Maas served as the Vice President of
Multifamily Operations at Origin Investments, where he drove the performance
of the ûrm9s multifamily portfolio and oversaw the strategy and execution of
property-level business planning. Prior to his time at Origin Investments, Maas
was the Regional Manager at Steadfast Companies, where he led the
company9s leasing and marketing, value-add construction management,
property management technology, and training operations. Prior to Steadfast
Companies, Maas worked for the Atlanta based owner-operated portfolio at
Avila Real Estate and with Merion Realty Partners.
VP Of Innovation &
Venture,
AvalonBay Communities
David Madrid is the Vice President of Innovation and Venture at AvalonBay. In
this role, he leads the incubation of new products and programs to drive Net
Operating Income, manages a sizable strategic investment portfolio, oversees
proût and loss responsibility across diverse areas, and chairs the Innovation
Committee. With a background as an architect-turned-investor and operator,
David has a proven track record in partnerships, business building, theme
development, sourcing, investments, and portfolio management. His extensive
real estate experience includes positions at both a venture-backed startup and
a global alternative asset management ûrm. In these roles, he developed
relationships with operators, structured investments, and oversaw investment
strategy and management.
Senior Advisor,
RET Ventures
Shawn Mahoney is a Senior Advisor at RET Ventures, one of the largest real
venture capital ûrms focused on real estate technology. Prior to joining RET,
Shawn spent twenty years as CIO and CTO at GID, where his responsibilities
and expertise encompassed real estate technology, operations, ûnance and
development. Shawn has been active in real estate technology initiatives
including NMHC Optech and is a frequent contributor at trade industry events.
Prior to GID, Shawn was CIO of AEW Capital Management, Controller of a real
estate development and syndication ûrm, and a ûnancial services industry
management consultant. He served on the Board of Trustees and as Finance
Committee Chairperson for a Boston area college.
