Scott Lang currently serves as Vice President, Market Development for
Residential Digital Solutions for Simpson Strong-Tie, the leader in engineered
structural connectors and building solutions. In this recently created position,
Lang will reûne customer segmentation and develop market strategies for
expanding the company9s residential digital solutions, including spearheading
new initiatives and creating innovative strategies that cater to customer needs
and broaden market reach. Lang has worked with Simpson Strong-Tie for
seven years, most recently serving as technology sales manager for National
Builder / Pro Supply, where he consulted with the top 30 homebuilders,
helping them understand how the company9s proprietary builders solutions
software and services combine with industry-standard systems to realize
signiûcant gains in efûciency. His extensive career experience includes a range
of sales management roles at several construction software solution providers.
Lang spent eight years spent as a software writer, 10 years in the
homebuilding industry and many years of selling software solutions. Lang has
a bachelor9s degree in computer and electrical engineering from Purdue
University.

Ventures
Chris is the Managing Partner of Home Technology Ventures, an early-stage
venture capital fund dedicated to accelerating the adoption of innovation
across the housing and home industries. Prior to founding Home Technology
Ventures, Chris led innovation, strategy and corporate development at Lowe's
and served as the founding Managing Director of Lowe's Ventures. He began
his career as an investment banker focused on the homebuilding, building
materials, distribution and specialty contractor segments.

Dusty Robotics
Considered one of the most inüuential women in robotics, Dr. Tessa Lau is an
award-winning CEO and roboticist whose most recent venture, Dusty
Robotics, is revolutionizing the construction industry. Dusty automates the
BIM-to-ûeld layout process through a robotic FieldPrinter, eliminating costly
errors and speeding up construction schedules. Prior to Dusty Robotics, Dr.
Lau was co-founder, CTO, and Chief Robot Whisperer at Savioke (Relay)
Robotics, where she automated hotel delivery and orchestrated the global
distribution and management of consumer-facing robots. Dr. Lau was also an
early member of Willow Garage, the legendary research lab and technology
incubator known as one of the most inüuential forces in modern robotics.
Though closing its doors in 2014, Willow Garage is responsible for the creation
of an open-source robot operating system that's still being used by
academics, engineers, and hobbyists around the world today. Dr. Lau is a
frequent speaker at business, technology, and construction conferences and
has received numerous awards, including 2023 Construction Dive's Up and
Coming Women in Construction, Silicon Valley Business Journal's Women of
Inüuence, SVR's Innovation Award, and the Award for Excellence from the
Association of Computer Machinery. Currently living in Silicon Valley, Dr. Lau
holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington.

Katharine is CEO and Co-Founder of Stuf. She was named to Inc. Magazine9s
Female Founders 100 list in the same year. Katharine is passionate about
reinventing consumer experiences in the physical world and leads the
company9s strategic vision and overall strategy in transforming the self-storage
industry. From 2015-2020, Katharine led supply growth at Industrious, the
nation9s largest premium shared workplace provider, overseeing the
company9s rapid expansion while developing go-to-market strategies for new
digital products and tenant experience services. She pioneered an "industry
ûrst= asset and liability-light growth strategy leading to CBRE9s partial
acquisition of Industrious in early 2021. Katharine previously worked at
Equinox, L&L Holding Company and PGIM Real Estate.
